How to Point Domain to Hosting ?

To connect your domain name with your hosting account, you need to update the domain’s nameservers or DNS records.

Option 1: Point Domain Using Nameservers (Recommended)

This is the easiest and most common method.

Step 1: Find Your Hosting Nameservers

Your hosting welcome email or client area will contain nameservers such as:

ns1.govaio.com
ns2.govaio.com

Step 2: Log in to Your Domain Registrar

Log in where your domain is registered, such as:

• GoDaddy

• Namecheap

• Google Domains

• BigRock

• Hostinger

• Reseller Panel

Step 3: Update Nameservers

Locate:

• DNS Management

• Nameserver Settings

• Custom Nameservers

Replace existing nameservers with your hosting nameservers.

Example:

Save the changes.

Option 2: Point Domain Using A Record

Use this method if you want to keep external DNS management.

Step 1: Find Server IP Address

You can find the server IP in:

Step 2: Update DNS A Record

Go to your domain DNS manager and update:
